This coffeeshop caters to the activist crowd. Each night, the cafe has something interesting going on like a free film, open mic, etc. Just check the night for what is going on. The Wireless connection is dependable, however, you have to sign up to use it (free to sign up). My main issue with this place (which is quite a serious one) is that they really push you to buy throughout the day if you are there for more than an hour. Their set up is that you have to be seated, and then you are "waited on" so you can't just go there and just chill out for an hour or two like you can in coffeehouses in places like Houston. Apparently, my green tea wasn't cutting it so they kept hounding me if I needed anything else. I bought a pizza and they still came back every 20 minutes. Ridiculous.
