Mission Hills Public Library
Type: Library Hours: Weird
Small antiquated branch library overstaffed with rude, noisy and nosey, and less than helpful/knowledgeable workers pre-occupied with personal business and long back/break room absences. WiFi is reliable and stable but often a weak signal. Wireless printing is not available. Hours are very strange and vary, so check before going. Place is now in it's second month of an advertised one week re-painting, with no end in sight, so space is often limited/unavailable. Parents dump kids here after school as a free baby sitter spot, so can get noisy/raucous. Clean restroom, but bring flashlight, as lights time-out within 15 seconds of entry - most unusual.

Mission Hills Library
I see why the "paint job" is taking so long at the Mission Hills Branch Public Library. For the 3+ hours I was there, the two "painters" were seated in the only two "easy" chairs in the library and were engrossed in conversation and reading Motor Trend Magazine. I never saw a paint brush lifted. Nice work, if you can get it! Of the limited free parking spots, the painters (on the city payroll?) occupied three with their vans, while the taxpayers funded the meters.
