Saffron Restaurant & Lounge
Type: Restaurant Hours: 11:00am to 11:00pm
Saffron Restaurant & Lounge is a modern Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurant in the heart of the warehouse district. Chef Sameh Wadi is wowing his guests with his signature seared scallops with fried clams, artichokes and saffron sauce, the slow cooked lamb shoulder with lamb bacon, harissa and chickpeas. Enjoy a bottle of wine from around the world such as Montes Alpha Syra from Argentina or the Domaine Thomas Sancere La Crele. Saffron offers 1/2 priced bottles of wine on Monday. The dining room is a warm and inviting casual restaurant, great for a date or a group of friends out for a fun night of food and wine and eager to please service. Come to Saffron, a food critic's favorite hang out. "This place deserves to be packed." Peter Lilienthal, Mpls/St Paul Magazine. "Chef-owner Sameh Wadi...is on top if his game with his contemporary dishes inspired by the Mediterranean and the Middle East...deftly cooked and delightfully creative." Gourmet Magazine
