RE: Forgot?
I don't know about the person working there last year, but my guess is that he is no longer there. I just called them (612.722.2500) and they said there is no charge for their wifi and you don't have to purchase anything to use it.

Forgot?
Went in to use WiFi and study. Got some coffee and food. Booted up laptop, and the kid there said he forgot the password to log on. What do you mean forgot? They have a policy that you have to spend like $5 or something to use it, which I did. I don't get it..

The owner may be bi-polar
I had a meeting there this afternoon and was planning to get an ice coffee after we finished; at 2:45 the owner (Older guy, medium length gray hair) came over and started giving us a hard time for taking up all of his space! I tried to explain to him that we were going to get something on the way out and that I visit the shop all the time since I live in the neighborhood but he just kept carrying on. Finally, when I went to buy a coffee he told his employees that he didn't want them to serve us and that we were assholes. What a shame that he was acting so crazy, now my wife and I will have to find another coffee shop in the area. All of our experiences with the other guys that run the shop in the mornings(I think they're related) were great, those guys actually had a single, not double, personality!

You Must Try Minnehaha Coffee
We stopped for coffee at the Minnehaha Coffee last week and were convinced, "This must be the best coffee in town!" We met some friends, took the LRT downtown, and later returned to have lunch. The Minnehaha Sandwich is an excellent choice. The staff was friendly, courteous, and very efficient. A summer treat is their ice cream in many delicious flavors. I understand an outdoor grille is in the plans. A great addition to an already great part of our city. This place is unique as it was once a gas station on the corner.

Best coffee in town!!!
Minnehaha Coffee is great. The service is awesome. The product is the best. They serve Alterra Coffee (out of Milwaukee). Anyway... great location, just off the Light Rail, a block from Minnehaha Falls, a few blocks from the river. Really close to lake Nokomis, Hiawatha. Just off hwy 55 and 62, really close to the airport. Minutes away from Highland. It's Minneapolis' best kept secret
