Good signal, mediocre coffee
The name is a bit confusing, as it goes by both The Spot and Synergy, so keep that in mind if you are looking for it. I was here recently for several hours, and never had a dropped connection. The staff was typical of what you find at any independent coffeehouse, not exceptional but not particularly bad, either. Seemed fairly popular with the locals. I can't comment on the food, but the drip coffee was fair, not great, and it wouldn't surprise me if the kitchen wasn't particularly exceptional. Overall, it's not my favorite coffeehouse, but I've also been to worse.

Consumers BEWARE!!! FYI No longer Synergy
Extremely Hateful, malicious character attack, was charged $10 for extremely runny undercooked eggs. Hope I don't get sick. Poor Signal, disconnects every 60 Seconds or so. Was ignored by staff, talked shit about by staff, arrived and did nothing to anyone to deserve such treatment. Had my change tossed/thrown at me. I was literally "Hated Out" of the store by vicious employees. If Synergy was great this store sucks! It's no longer Synergy, it's now called The Spot. But I recommend calling it "The Shit Stain." Was being redocorated by owners, which I appreciated, but if they really want to make a full 360 turn around they need to hire new staff...asap. Ok,thought I'd try it out, here's what happened: Showed up looking for Synergy,but only it's not Synergy, it's now called "The Spot". If Synergy was cool,here's what The Spot is like. It Sucks. I was expecting great energy, however, as soon as I arrived and before it was all over here's what happened: I was ignored, had my changed thrown at me, recieved an extremely runny omelette (as never before seen in my life an omelette that runny; had my character maliciously attacked and slanderized by the people that worked there (insecure yokel like bitch & insecure inadequate little "You can diss other women and I'll agree becuase it makes me feel like I'm a women too" dog boy. Recieved such significant hate that I was actually "Hated Out of the Door". Bad.Bad.Bad. Most importantly, I spent all of $10 for a runny omelette that was suppossed to come with mixed greens but didnt (just now remembering 12hours later)a coffee (and water, that should've been free) All for a signal that was Extremely Poor! I was dropped every 60 seconds or so. Couldn't even use the "service". Between that and the service, as well as the extreme hate, well, it's just not worth it.
