espresso ok

cosy place with the best coffe in the town, i agree

dirty, loud, crowded, old

i would not recommend this place if you want to study or are remotely clausterphobic. the bathroom is dirty, the couches are old and ripped. there's absolutely no ventilation except for the occasional door opening. the coffee is horrible. i'm definitely not coming back here again.

Hours have changed!

An A+ Joint for Coffee Lovers

The Balcony is a creative, friendly space with supreme coffee and other treats. I've been coming here for years for this reason alone.

Love Love

this place is lovely, delicious beverages, knowledgable staff, cozy interior, quiet but friendly patrons

The best coffee in Los Angeles

I have LIVED this cafe for 5 years now. They have very unique siphone coffe, and artisitc lattes (you will SEE what I meant when you order one). I recommend 100% to bring your date after cozy dinner. (of course with your friends, or business partners.) Also they have the free wireless internet. So I come here almost everyday.

Best espresso in town.

What a great find! Service is great; these guys are coffee pros, best espresso in town. My new favorite hangout.

best coffee in town

This is the best coffee shop in town. Not only is it a super hip atmosphere with good music and art, but it's actually host to the best coffee in LA. Talk to Ray about his Siphon method of brewing "the meanest cup of coffee". Oh, and Ray is the guy who actually owns the shop and is always happy to pass down his knowledge of coffee. Needless to be said, I am a fan.
