Finally, we have ourselves a midtown hang-out where you can take a load off and enjoy a cozy and warm atmosphere. Located one block north of 59 at the corner of Gray and Chenevert, this charming coffee house has an outstanding ambiance. The soothing décor dazzles with a tasteful selection of local artist’s work that is rotated to feature a new artist every month. The owners, Faith & Maria, will personally treat and greet every guest that comes through their doors. They boast fresh tamales on Wednesdays and Thursdays, homemade breakfast tacos on Friday and Saturday, Jamaican Patties, and a wide daily array of divine drinks and a nice variety of light fares (vegetarian options included). And, oh yes, don’t forget to try the Stir-It-Up Frappe or their delish Café Dulce. They have DJ’s spinning for your entertainment on Saturday afternoons and free WI-FI all the time!
