good service

i went there and its very good service and good food

Don't waste your time here!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. Poorly maintained network and overpriced food and drink but friendly wait-staff.

Free computers (and riff-raff) are back

Been coming to this "bookstore" since day 1, when it was Boiz R Us. Now it's junk food, overpriced desserts, and French bistro fare, meaning, fancy food, small portions and HIGH PRICES. Coffee has improved to barely drinkable. This is NOT a place to relax or study. The music is LOUD alternative rock, faggy dance, or Tejano, depending on who's working the counter. The free computers have returned, along with the street trash twinks who monopolize them but don't buy anything. Paying customers have resigned themselves to bringing their own laptop and sharing the few power outlets. Unencrypted WiFi coverage is erratic. Saving grace is the outdoor patio for the chain-smokers, convenient for homeless pedestrians to bum cigarettes.

WIFI still there

Read the other comments and maybe I am more tolerant or liberal than some of the others. $1.50 for a coke is probably high but not much different then other places in town. As for the Twinks/young crowd, I have been in here for the past 4 days and did not and do not find that the crowd is unruly as a rule. There is an occassional stuck on themselves but they havent hung around long. Convenient place to connect to the net and the munchies are not bad either. The Restaurant at the other end of the mall is good.

It's still free ...

I don't go into the coffee shop except to get a Coke every once in a while, and I assume the wifi is still free there. However, I often eat at the Hollywood Vietnamese restaurant at the other end of the strip. It DOES have free wifi and decent srping rools and other Asian foods. Sometimmes sit there for a couple hours with friends at the window booths or at the tables. Nice waitstaff refilling ice teas and never push me out.

This place sux

I used to visit this place pretty often when it opened.... Now, not so much. They little boys running around the place annoy the CRAP out of me, and most others in there... And... $1.50 for a can of Coke? get real!

Avoid It

I will completely avoid the place from now on. I used to go there quite often, but there are groups of younger guys (the twinkie George's of the world), who simply can't wrap their minds around the fact that the world doesn't revolve around them. They spent very little money compared to the rest of us, and yet the owner coddles them as if they can do no wrong. I wonder what he's after huh? Pretty pathetic display of responsible ownership and management allowing the place to be harassed by these little boys who are loud, obnoxious, insulting, offensive and have already driven away people who actually spent a lot of money there, until now.

"cleaner" now

the "bookstore" section has moved around the corner, and now the cafe is a relatively family safe environment.

nasty

This place sells gay porn and has obscence photos everywhere. I am gay and I find it disgusting that a porno shop is trying to be passed off as a coffee shop. If you want to see some hard core action go here; if you want a coffee shop, don't come here!

Still there

Hollywood still has free wifi and now 3 workstations in case you forgot to bring your laptop. Some of the best Caramel Machiatto's too! Big screen TV, good music, and friendly wait-staff :)
