Horrible Service/Rude
I went there last night with my roommate to do some schoolwork, I take online classes so I go to places where they have free wifi. I came to this place becuase I love the little area it's in, and thought it would be great place to get some food/coffee and work done, even though it's not all that close to where I live. We wnet up to the counter, where it says order here, and they said to have a seat at a table and a waiter would take our orders. So we sat down and looked through the menus, and got started on our work, 20 minutes went by and not one single person came to ask if we even wanted something to drink. So I went back up to the counter where it said order here, and ask for a latte and a pastry. The waiter handed me the wrong pastry, but I paid for it anyway, and sat down. Another 10 mins goes by, and still no latte. The wasiters were all standing around talking, I approach them at the bar and ask for my latte. The waiter apologized and said he would take care of us, needless, to say once I got my latte, not one single person approached our table for the rest of the night, not to pick up the dirty plates. This was a horrible experience, and I will never visit this coffee shop again. I love the area and frequent some of the restaurants and bars in the area, but in the future, if I want coffee, I rather drive to Starbucks, where even if the espresso isn't all that great, at least the people are extremely freindly.
