Will Ferrell was in Chicago and filmed "Stranger Than Fiction", one of the locations was Catedral Café. Will filmed with Maggie Gyllenhaal ("Secretary") in a set transformed from a Coffee Shop to a Bakery/Coffee Shop. Catedral Café is the first elegant upscale coffee shop in Little Village and within the Hispanic community where the unique European/Mediterranean menu is served in the area at reasonable cost. Catedral Café, with its furnishings reflecting European and Latin-American cafés, feels like Italy, Paris, or Morelia.
