There's a reason it's "nondescript." Postmark is run by The Orchard Group, an evangelical Christian group whose mission is to ""blur the lines between church! and community" and save the heathens of NYC from themselves. They literally targeted Park Slope because it is "a very family-oriented artistic community" and they aim to put a stop to it! They call the Postmark cafe the "nerve center" of their congregation. Storytimes for kids and good mochas as an underhanded and creepy way of insinuating yourself into a community? If you are into narrow-minded homophobia, anti-choice, bible-thumping good times, give them your money. If not, there are a lot of great cafe choices right around the corner.
