This is my favorite wi-fi spot because you can sit at the bar facing the window and work the day away.

Other enjoyable offerings include boba milk tea and fresh-made smoothies. The atmosphere and staff are very friendly, and a good spot to surf and study on the free wifi. A hidden gem in Allston, this cozy cafe is a quiet and relaxing experience.

Very cozy coffeeshop with free wireless near Tufts in Somerville. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from either the Porter or Davis stations on the Red Line, but well worth it. Great pastries from local bakeries, creative hot and cold drinks (in addition to standard cafe fare), a very friendly staff, and good music played just quiet enough to allow some reading. Customers tapping on laptops dominate, but the location (relatively unknown Ball Sq.), staff, and clientele are miles away from pretension. If I lived a few blocks closer, I might be there everyday...
